Home EV Charger Rebate
Rebate Offer
If you are looking to purchase and install a Level 2 EV charger at home, you may qualify for a Home EV Charger Rebate. These rebates can cover up to 50% of the cost, to a maximum of $350 for the purchase and installation of a charger. Offer applies for chargers installed at single-family homes, row homes, and duplexes.
The EV charger rebate program can be combined with other incentives. If combined, it will be capped so that the total incentives don’t exceed the total cost of the equipment and installation.

BC Hydro is offering funding of up to $250, up to 50% of your eligible costs, for the installation of an eligible smart EV charger at a single family home.
These chargers connect to the Internet, usually by wi-fi and your Internet connection. This allows you to schedule your charging and get more information about your charging and electricity consumption. They may also allow you to participate in any future BC Hydro incentive programs and special rates.

Rebate Details
For single-family homes, receive funding up to $350 for EV charger rebates. This charger model is also eligible for the BC Hydro Smart Charger top-up rebate up to $250 for Single-family homes. In addition, enroll in the Peak Saver program for additional rewards, while helping BC Hydro manage demand to ensure safe, reliable electricity across the province.
